Dream Logic

He was all but on the road and sleeping shadows called him home. And nothing but the howling night churned up in his head. Next he sees a fair young girl, amongst the over powered sky. And the through the leaves a sparkling smile, a greeting for that mornings eye. So walk yourself for further use, charge the roads, stamp on my ground and blow the wind for her future. Love and lust will banish you and anger might destroy you, don't deny you haven't seen me yet. Please walk that road. She said revere my body. Guilty as I was and in bad need of affection, I switched off the lights, blew out my candles and lay down to talk to her. And I told her.. She was better than any drug and started to get me high, she blew me into outer space and never told me why. Oh you're touching on madness, stirring but reckless, this feeling I cannot deny. She was better than any drug, never failed to get me high. Oh! Got a dose of that remedy. Oh! I got a taste of that other me. I will drown in her waters, I will never speak for her.

Couple of guys, sitting underneath a tree Who knows what wisdom they can see Kids play around them unaware Oh so possessed they both seem as I stare Chorus What dose the sun dictate today? Is it all a dream? Innocence and accidents Please come back to me Don’t you know I’m ready to fight? My life a blank canvas Oh and though I scream in the night You help me write every verse We all suffer once and fight back again We separate our problems We don’t find our answers But I, you and me agree That if I hold up this glass, a mirror of past glories and golden designs I knock up a cocktail of darkness and doubt Drink it and wave you goodbye Chorus What dose my heart dictate today? Is it all a scheme? Innocence and accidents Please come back to me Innocent dream (repeated)

Forest song 05:02
Walking to your heaven, stairway to the moon. Night captures a strange rapture, forest fires in June. Light trickles out the windows before the hour is late. Fireflies dim and flicker and light up every movement on your face. Head buzzing like a garden, pools of dreams and signs. Soft lilting syrup evening, a trip that sails so high. Snow walker, winter cover, I know you understand. Hiding out, there’s no sought, the gentle trees will part like desert sand.

Happy alone 03:36
If I could only admit it, had the sight to see myself Forced in me courage was this penetrating doubt Aching feet, what did she say? He fights on to be home Up and down he levels spirits, insists he’s happy alone There were two spiders in the bathtub, crowded visions of last night. Always making trouble with bottles of cheap wine Start the taxi ride with expectation; end it in your bed Something stole your light Oh you know it moved up to me so slowly, I didn’t notice until it was with me. And that snake help a mirror, then ate me up discreetly I feel like a guitar with no strings, today I’m gonna play for no one, tomorrow I could be someone, who’ll sing you a lullaby. There were two spiders in the bathtub, crowded visions of last night. Always making trouble with bottles of cheap wine Start the taxi ride with expectation; end it in your bed Something stole your light

Am I gonna haunt your mind forever? Am I gonna run for shelter? Now I know this decision is right If I were to haunt your mind And I’m gonna warn you everyday To run with me, fight with me; dine with this fool in a fiery sky There’d be satisfaction on both our sides Am I gonna make you run with me through the world? Coz to the world that would be an impossibility To the world any sign of love it seems free And I’m gonna warn you everyday To run with me, fight with me; dine with this fool in a fiery sky In a fiery sky

Religious building painted in the snow, it blows inside the night, the sparing light of cold. My toes are all freezing, my hands I cannot see, my ears are barley covered, Oh the ice will cease to be with us, a hollow crust, I seek to trust and be with us. Love will go and walk outside me; I wake 100 years of frost. Her boundless energy, believe in all it’s worth and see, believe in all its worth, when its gone.

Mountain 05:09
Making exceptions, turning to greet an acquaintance and a hero in your bedroom. Mistaking rejections, sorry about the placing of your home and the city you live in. Tell me about my leader, where in the world has he been? Feed me my brother, get off of your mountain I’m so thin. Let me inside your mountain x2 Now a young girl wakes up, see nothing around her, hears only the cries of her mother. She’s chained to the darkness, I see her on my TV screen but I guess we’ll never see each other. She says tell me about my leader, where in the world has he been? Feed me my brother, get off of your mountain I’m so thin. Let me inside your mountain x4

Brushing all his fingers against the painted glass, moving him sideways, moving him so fast. He cannot get fruit from the tops of the tree but useless is tasting, appitite be free. Making beliving shadows falling in the rain, everybodys in the same boat but no one feels the same. Fall and die for no one when nobody lives for you. Cotton cold and heartfelt, nothing left to say. Smile at all the faces in the harsh light of the day well you can’t let it happen and you can’t push him over the edge. Well I’m a poor little boy and I know what I like X2 I’m a poor little boy won’t you cast your eyes down for me. Well I’m a lost little boy and I know what I like X2 I’m a lost little boy won’t you pull down the blinds for me Sleepy little moonshine dogs and howling cats, somewhere in a window a woman and the past. Sleep with an open mind, never a bleeding hand. She says I can recollect all the times we carried on and nothing really happened no meaning in his songs but something took over, something so wild and free Day dreaming of the open portals in her mind, sticky hot summers of the everlasting kind. Well they sit in their days, loosing all sense of time. Oh well I’m a poor little boy and I know what I like X2 I’m a poor little boy won’t you cast your eyes down for me. Well I’m a lost little boy and I know what I like X2 I’m a lost little boy won’t you pull down the blinds for me

Time planets 04:38
The darkness in the mirror won’t let it see you, you denied it and tore the space apart One lamp shows up in your brain and starts to give us, sensations we wish we’d always had Other places close off as they make time brighter, we make the most of simply feeling good Our world is distant and it never comes near us, we leave because we figure that we should. Now time is lifting its black silk curtain, now I must step outside Talk to the people who think they know me, it works better when I’ve got something to hide Bleak distant memory bites at my conscience and I can’t place a finger on what went on. I make no exceptions when I want to tell them, because they already know I’m not that strong.

Roof gliding on the paving sand, tantilising in our hands Hearts race, morphing higher. Come guide me beautiful flower. You said it and I listened, special lover not imprissioned. I caught your silent stair, I caught you unaware. You freed me in my mind, you’re warm like spitting fire, I couldn’t put you out You freed me in my mind X3 And it’s been cutting close X2 I knew him very well, like my own twisted head. Wisdom doesn’t sell, it’s tucked up in our beds. I’ve got not pick and choose, I don’t have cruel intentions Put colours in the park, fever pitch, hang the dark You freed me in my mind, you’re warm like spitting fire, I couldn’t put you out You freed me in my mind X3 And it’s been cutting close X2

Midnight movements in duvets soft, ask your lover to sign the cloth, roses peak at certain times of year. Feeling her stomach, rubbing gently, being beside her, inside her oh maybe this time a world will come to his eyes. Don't let the world dictate to you what is wrong and right. Because you're only 22 tonight. And if they scorn and if they scotch, make sure you're watching her back. For she is there and she can hear your distant cry. Now there only the living room, kitchen sink has gone away, they've left you here all alone with her. Try to capture what you had last weekend. For no intoxication grand will help you out when her voice it softens. Don't let the world dictate to you what is wrong and right. Because you're only 22 tonight. And if they scorn and if they scotch, make sure you're watching her back. For she is there and she can hear your distant cry. Every hour passes by, growing up to understand. Every second I will play, holding her music in my hands.

Good memories debating friends, isolation good times end. Inside is a knowing smile, not needing to speak at all. If he knew how to change their minds he might go out, not easy to change the ones who put you down. Was hiding the best of moves, he hears the sounds but he’s not in their shoes. And the brain works a simple spell, no pretentions or pointless tales. If he knew how to change their minds he might go out, not easy to change the ones who put you down. Fate works in a funny old way it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy. Who want to take another crack at this one? Righteous children pinned to their chairs sad opinions, lonely affairs. Vegetating barley alive, happy living nine to five. I can’t criticise or rationalise for mines a simple mine X2 Mines a simple mind
